Objective: Continuous improvement calls for endless effort for improvement involving everyone in the organization. The aim of this study is to shed a light on the effecs of Continuous Improvement in the private and public hospitals\nMaterial and Methods : The population of the study consists of 2 public and 2 private hospitals in Istanbul, which employ 1.600 health sector employees. The sample of the study is consisted of 360 health sector employees determined by the stratified sampling method. As the sampling of the study randomized methods have been used and the data has been collected through the questionnaire method. In the study, A Likert-Type and Yes-No Scales were used. To test the reliability of the scale, Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients are used.\nResults: It’s found that the continuous improvement effecs private and publis hospitals positively. Personal and vocational trainings, employee participation to decision-making proces, feedback, employees suggestion and new ideas are considered in the hospital.\nDiscussion : Based on the results, the continuous improvement a positive impact in the hospitals but, continuous improvement are more regarded and implemented effectively in private hospitals.
