Trafficking in persons is a curse and grave violation of human rights, and media has the potential to eliminate such an epidemic. The study determines the role of national media, through its agenda-setting and framing theory, as one of the most relevant sources to resolve such an issue. It examines the nature of human trafficking issues through quantitative research analysis of two leading national dailies of the country while using systematic random sampling of five years. Major findings revealed a lack in thematic framing and agenda-setting issues of human trafficking, which could only be resolved through some concrete efforts at the national level.
