How to Face the Technological Tsunami in Education: Regional Clustering?

In this technological age, the need for training is expanding rapidly due to the demand for new skills. Concurrently, we are increasingly provided with free online educational materials at an unprecedented pace. Two key factors drive this transformation: emerging learning trends and pervasive technology use in everyday life. Considering the costs associated with sustainable educational online tools, technology developers and stakeholders are actively seeking new methods and promptly proposing solutions to public and private institutions, as well as the business sector. These innovations promote the migration of educational tools and technologies to the cloud, fostering the widespread sharing of educational content, products, tools, and services. However, challenges such as socio-cultural, linguistic, administrative, and service-related barriers arise at this stage. Technology-based education has emerged as a distinct industrial sector with its own sub-branches and financial resources. It necessitates comprehensive solutions to address the needs of thousands of potential end-users, as well as development, management, hosting, certification, security, and backup-related costs.
