Indirect Biomimetic Restorations in Posterior Teeth: A Clinical Study of Main Principles - Case Series

Angela Gusiyska

In the past three decades, advancements in dental materials have introduced more esthetic options for the restoration of posterior teeth. This study investigates the application of indirect biomimetic restorations, such as inlays and onlays, using ceramic materials to enhance the esthetic and functional outcomes in posterior teeth compromised by caries. The case series presented evaluates various clinical approaches and outcomes, emphasizing cavity design and material selection to achieve optimal restoration. Results indicate that the choice of material and design significantly influence the longevity and esthetics of the restoration, providing valuable insights for clinical practices.
