The aim of this study is to determine the differences in indicators of situational efficiency between successful and unsuccessful elite handball teams, participants of the World Junior Championship. A total of 194 games were played, with twenty-four teams divided into two groups: the winning and losing teams. The differences in indicators of situational efficiency are determined on the basis of 23 variables including field shots, line shots, wing shots, breakthrough shots, fast break shots, seven-meter throws, and the number of goalkeeping actions. The analysis provides insights into the tactical and technical parameters that distinguish winning teams from their defeated counterparts, offering valuable information for coaches and players aiming to enhance performance.
