MHD Non-Darcy Flow and Thermal Radiation on Heat Transfer Generation through a Stretching Cylinder in Porous Medium

Gamal M. Abdel-Rahman

The magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) non-Darcy flow and thermal radiation effects on heat transfer generation through a stretching cylinder in a porous medium have been analyzed. The study applies a similarity transformation to reduce the governing continuity, momentum, and energy equations into a system of non-linear ordinary differential equations. These equations are solved numerically to investigate the impact of various parameters on velocity and temperature profiles, as well as on local skin friction and rates of heat and mass transfer. The results are illustrated graphically and discussed in detail, providing insights into optimizing thermal systems in engineering applications.
