This study focuses on the analysis of self-efficacy and academic adaptation as adjustment factors in the higher education context. The sample comprised 50 participants, and demographic data were collected using a specially designed questionnaire. The Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Self-Efficacy was employed to assess self-efficacy, while academic adaptation was evaluated using the Academic Experiences Questionnaire - Short Version. The findings, interpreted through the lens of social-cognitive theory, underscore the importance of fostering self-efficacy in higher education. A notable correlation between self-efficacy and academic adaptation suggests that enhancing self-efficacy within private higher education settings can significantly improve student adjustment through a continuous process.
