Introduction to the Mixture of Fuzzy Sets and Its Applications

It is well known that the operations with fuzzy sets are based on calculations with the values of membership functions or the membership degree of the elements. In this paper, a new operation with fuzzy sets is discovered and contributed, named mixture of fuzzy sets, which operates not only with the above values, but it is mostly based on the mixture of elements of several fuzzy sets. Through two examples for Management, one relating to the diagnosis of work competencies and another concerning the prospective of local development, the application of the theoretical contribution made is shown, concluding its usefulness to the role of science in practice.
