Composite indicators are increasingly used for evaluating various economic aspects, with many internationally recognized institutions committed to this task. These indicators facilitate comparative analyses between countries, particularly in measuring competitiveness. This paper explores which international composite indicators can effectively assess and measure industrial policy. Additionally, it examines Bulgaria's position within these global rankings. By focusing on Bulgaria, the study provides insights into the country's industrial policy framework and its performance compared to other nations. The findings highlight strategic areas for improvement and policy development, contributing to a broader understanding of industrial policy dynamics in a comparative international context.
