Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Sangiran, Sragen, are poised to capitalize on the opportunities presented by the ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA) through strategic advancements in technology and management. This study focuses on the gemstone and fossil souvenir industry, identifying key areas for development, including the design of industrial models that align with market demand, enhancement of technology utilization, and optimization of institutional support from research, education, and banking sectors. Conducted as a cross-sectional research and development study, the research outlines the first-year achievements, such as the Training Need Analysis for the local creative industries, the creation of a prototype model for technology application in gemstone and fossil processing, and the design development of souvenirs. The study also highlights the administrative processes involved in intellectual property rights and patent registration, aiming to foster a better business climate through strengthened social capital.
