Projection and Impact of Centers for Higher Education Studies: Experiences at the University of the East

The investigation into the fundamental pedagogical challenges in higher education is crucial for enhancing the quality of professional training. This paper discusses the role of higher education study centers in addressing pedagogical problems to meet contemporary social demands. It emphasizes the need for scientific knowledge development that enables professionals to solve essential problems creatively and independently. The transformation of pedagogical management and the conceptualization of higher education as a scientific discipline are necessary to address the limitations of current curricular models. Establishing research centers and postgraduate programs within universities is essential for systematizing teaching experiences and advancing scientific thought in university communities. These centers should not merely execute established protocols but act as agents of development, fostering a broad cultural and scientific engagement.
