Objective: Continuous improvement calls for endless effort for improvement involving everyone in the organization. The aim of this study is to shed light on the effects of Continuous Improvement in private and public hospitals. Material and Methods: The population of the study consists of 2 public and 2 private hospitals in Istanbul, which employ 1,600 health sector employees. The sample of the study consisted of 360 health sector employees determined by the stratified sampling method. Randomized methods were used, and data were collected through a questionnaire method. In the study, Likert-Type and Yes-No Scales were used. To test the reliability of the scale, Cronbach’s Alpha coefficients were used. Results: It was found that continuous improvement affects private and public hospitals positively. Personal and vocational training, employee participation in decision-making processes, feedback, employee suggestions, and new ideas are considered in the hospital. Discussion: Based on the results, continuous improvement has a positive impact on hospitals; however, it is more regarded and implemented effectively in private hospitals.
