Aristolochia littoralis Parodi, a well-documented invasive plant species, has increasingly been observed in the Kailash Sacred Landscape, specifically within the Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, India. Known for its rapid proliferation and ecological impact, this species poses a significant threat to local biodiversity. This study details the current spread and ecological ramifications of Aristolochia littoralis within this unique ecosystem. Surveys and field observations conducted across multiple locations in the region reveal the plant's adaptability to diverse environmental conditions, enabling its establishment in open forest areas. The findings highlight the urgent need for strategies to manage this invasive species to preserve the native flora and fauna of the Kailash Sacred Landscape.
